Community Schools Day of Information and Advocacy
September 24 @ 10:30 am - 3:30 pm CDT
Join school staff, parents, community-based organizations/ partners, and elected officials from across the state to learn more about the community schools strategy. What is it? Where is it happening in Wisconsin? How can we talk to our elected officials about it? Answer these questions and visit your representatives to discuss these issues at the first Wisconsin Community Schools Advocacy Day. We feature talks by Community Schools groups from across Wisconsin, Senator Chris Larson, school board members, and other advocates across the state about how community schools can be an equitable school improvement strategy that engages families, community stakeholders, students, teachers, and administrators.
