Introduction to Restorative Practices – Madison
June 29 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm CDT
Restorative Practices are grounded in a framework that values all members of the school community (students, staff, parents, and community partners) and sees them as partners in creating safe and supportive schools. This framework includes a variety of practices for supporting the academic and social growth of everystudent and creating collaborative cultures.
WEAC and the WEA Academy are sponsoring an Introduction to Restorative Practices workshop to be held on Friday, June 29, 2018, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the WEAC Office, 33 Nob Hill Road, Madison.
In this session, you will learn a variety of ways restorative practices can be used to increase engagement and participation resulting in increased instruction time and a reduction in behavior concerns. Everyone will leave with effective strategies that can be used and shared with others immediately.
